Prof. Kevin C. Almeroth, founder
Prof. Kevin C. Almeroth is currently a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and the Associate Dean for Adancement and
Planning in the College of Engineering at the University of California in Santa Barbara where his main research interests include
computer networks and protocols, wireless networking, multicast communication, large-scale multimedia systems, and mobile applications.
In addition, he is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Airforce TMOS project.
Prof. Almeroth received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Stuart Phillips has over 25 years experience in the data communications field including being Cisco Systems product manager for high end routers,
Asia Pacific.
Mr. Stuart Phillips has a BS in Computer Science from National University and an MBA from the Asia Pacific Center for Professional Excellence, Singapore.
Dr. Roman Chertov, Senior Research Scientist
Dr. Roman Chertov is a senior researcher at Santa Barbara Labs. He also holds a visiting researcher position at
the University of California in Santa Barbara. His primary interests include high-fidelity network emulation, network measurements,
highly-configurable and scalable testbeds, satellite networks, and mobile applications.
Dr. Chertov has received a B.S. from University of Maryland at College Park, M.S. from Purdue University, and a Ph.D. from Purdue University (all in computer science).
